England boss Steve McClaren completed his u-turn this afternoon after naming the 32-year-old midfielder in his line-up as he battles to rescue England's Euro 2008 hopes.
Beckham has seen his form for Real Madrid improve dramatically in the second half of the season, helping guide the Bernabau giants to another Spanish title as he prepares for a move to the MLS and LA Galaxy this summer.
Fit-again Michael Owen, who captained England's B-side against Albania last night, returns to the full international squad for the first time since his World Cup injury.
And he is joined in the 26-man squad by Blackburn's David Bentley, who has impressed in his recent U21 and B-international performances. Reading's Nicky Shorey is also included in the squad.
England take on Brazil in a Wembley warm-up before travelling to Estonia for the crucial clash five days later which could prove make or break for both England's European Championship hopes and Steve McClaren's job.
