Five prison guards have been arrested after forcing inmates to hold boxing fights and videotaping them. Predictably the bouts in an Albuquerque jail lead to a broken hand and a concussion.
The prisoners were told to fight with boxing gloves but weren't given headgear or mouthguards.
The man who broke his hand was denied medical attention because the guards didn't want anyone to find out.
The guards are believed to have laid bets on the results with one telling another, "you made me a lot of money."
Seventeen video clips were found on one of the guard's phones.
