The crag broke loose yesterday morning, plunging 18m (60ft) down the rock face at the back of a house.
It also pushed an oil tank containing 1,000 litres of oil up against the back of Gwyneth Jarman's house in Dulverton, Somerset.
'I heard the rumbling, the house shook, I woke up and didn't realise what had happened. The boulder would have been in the kitchen if the shed hadn't been there.'
